Lecturers of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic under the aegis of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic have embarked on indefinite strike.
This was disclosed on Friday by the Chairman of the union, Kola Abiola after the union's congress on Campus.
Press Club MAPOLY reliably gathered that this is following the failure of the state government to honour their demands over the controversies that trailed the conversion of the 38-year old polytechnic to a varsity.
It would be recalled that the union had given the government two weeks ultimatum to meet their new demands.
